Patna: Patna Police on Sunday arrested 10 criminals and damaged the gang involved in recent theft in locked houses in the city.
Gang recently committed theft in two houses near Baba Chowk and Ravi Chowk under the Patliputra police station in the city and fled with valuables.
“Acting on a tip off, a police team led by Sho (incharge) from the police station Patliputra Satyendra Kumar Shahi raided Rajiv Nagar (Jalan Number 19) and was accused of accusing the key, Sumit Kumar aka Karu, and nine other criminals.
Other arrested criminals I was identified as Kumar Kumar Patel, Rajveer aka Rajiv, Kanhaiya aka Piyush, Suraj Kumar, Guddu Kumar, Amit Prakash, Pankaj Kumar, Manish Kumar and Rishu Kumar.
Two suspicious cellphones, laptops, cash and gold and silver gold recovered from ownership The criminals were arrested, “said DSP (law and order) Sanjay Kumar.
Sho Shahi said Rajveer was a gang gang.
“Gang members used to target locked houses in the patliputra and Rajiv Nagar area,” he added.
