Kolkata: Special Operations Group (SOG) from Bengal Cid damages the racket of a weapons license operating from Burdwan which is suspected of using false documents to help people procure weapons and ammunition.
The defendant who buys these weapons based on this fake license found has been involved as guards in and around Kolkata, including malls and jewelry stores.
Five fake weapons licenses, five weapons and some ammunition were confiscated from six people captured so far.
The defendant was produced in court on Friday.
Cid said the gang had been operating for a long time and the influential people involved in that was not ruled out.
