‘Dance shows should be dropped’

Thiruvananthapuram: Towards the Thiruvananthapuram District Conference, the leadership of the CPM district also acknowledged the incatance behind the performance of the ‘Mega Thiruvathira’ dance held by the party unit in the day when the body of the SFI Dheeraj worker was taken in the procession from idukki to the cemetery for the funeral.
CPM State Secretary KodiYeri Balakrishnan said that the dance program as part of the party conference should fall.
“We should postpone the program.
We cannot memo the event because hundreds of participants have reached a venue for performance,” said the District Secretary to the media on Thursday.
Education Minister V Sivankutty also left the program for which senior CPM leaders, including members of the Politbiro M a baby, was the audience.
While babies have not reacted to events that put CPM in defense, Sivankutty said the dance program did reflect the lack of perseverance in the committee when Covid cases increased in the state.
That was Janathipathya Mahila Congress Committee Parassala organized ‘Thiruvathira’ featuring 550 women.
The dance program, which was conceived as Paean to the Government of CPM and LDF, thrilled the award to the head of Pinarayi Vijayan by projected it as a leader who saved the Kalites from the danger forced by natural disasters.
After controversy, the Parsala police have registered a case against the organizers for violations of the Covid Protocol.
Meanwhile, the district conference will begin with a flower tribute in the martyr alone at 10 am on Friday.
The chairman of the Pinarayi Vijayan CPM Politburo and Member Politburo will inaugurate the conference at 10:30 a.m.
