Cincinnati: Top Seeds Daniel Medvedev reached the Cincinnati Masters final on Thursday with a 6-3 defeat, 6-3 of fellow Dimitrov Champions.
World number two stretched their record against Bulgaria to 3-1.
Russia Medvedev won the Cincinnati title in 2019 while Dimitrov took the trophy at the US Open Heating event in 2017.
Champions in Toronto last weekend, Medvedev will face the nine Seed Hubert Hurkacz Pabandia or Spain Pablo Carreno Busta.
“What makes it difficult (for Cincinnati-Toronto Double), it’s two consecutive weeks against the best players in the world,” said the 25-year-old player.
“I’m still young, healthy and feel 100 percent, so that’s why I want to try and do it.”
