LONDON (UK): The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Tuesday announced a female squad for the T20i series of three matches to come against India.
The multi-format series is in 6-4 to England, with every T20i worth two points.
Danni Wyatt and Mady Villiers returned between 14 teams, while Kate Cross and Lauren Winfield-Hill returned to play for their regional team and would be available for the action of Charlotte Edwards this weekend.
Lisa Keightley’s head coach in the official release said: “We have played some good crickets in all tests and odi and we have named strong forces for the IT20 series.
It’s 6-4 in the multi-format series and we’re back trying to win .
“” We might not be good enough at the third odi so I want us to go to the land running in the first it20 and become cruel, “Keightley added.
India beat England by four goals in the third Odi on Saturday on Jalan Baru, Worcester.
Mithali Raj played the knock of a captain because he remained unbeaten at 75.
