Lucknow: Sixteen Turncoats, including former Government Minister BJP Dara Singh Chauhan, made him a third list of 56 candidates stated by the Samajwadi Party on Thursday.
The party has announced 254 of its candidates so far while the SP Alliance has stated 289 candidates from 403 – including 33 RLD and one candidate respectively from SBSP and RKP.
In the caste matrix, this list has 12 Dalits and 23 OBC, including 11 Yadav, 12 OBC non-Yadav.
This is separate, this list also includes 10 Muslims, seven Brahmin and four Thakurs.
Of the 11 non-YADAV OBC, there are three Kurmis, two of each of Kushwaha, Nishad and Rajbhar and each of the sub-castes of friends and nonia.
From within SP, veterans such as opposition leaders in the State Assembly, RAM Gobind Chaudhary, former Speaker of the Prasad Pandey Mahal Assembly, former member of the Ramakant Yadav parliament, former Minister of Arvind Singh Gope and a number of other MLA sitting tickets have been given tickets.
Vinay Tiwari, Putra Strongman Hariskark Tiwari and sat BSP MLA from Chillupar, who sided with SP in December 2021 too, had defended his chair.
In the third list, the party has announced the nomination of four of the five constituencies in the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha segment, leaving open options for Gorakhpur (urban) where the head of the Yogi Adityanath minister was in Medan.
Dara Singh Chauhan, who is BJP MLA who is sitting from Madhuban will be a candidate of SP from Ghosi in the District of Wants – Fortress of the Clan Don Mukhtar Ansari who was imprisoned.
After strictly confidant from the Head of BSP Mayawati, Sitting BSP MLAS RAM Achal Rajbhar (Akbarpur) and Lalji Verma (Katehri) will now be a SP candidate from the constituency constituency of each.
Tribhuvan Dutt is a SP candidate from alaperur.
Other important BSP leaders, former MP, Rakesh Pandey are SP candidates from Jalalpur.
His son Ritesh Pandey is the MP BSP sitting.
A similar scenario tends to appear in Phulpurpawai Azamgarh where the party has deployed the Ramakant Yadav timer, his son is MLA BJP who sits the same constituency and the party is likely to repeat the candidate.
Akhilesh has reduced Kamlakant Rajbhar, a five-time son of BSP MLA from Darifajaj, in Azamgarh and the former speaker assembly late Sukhdeo Rajbhar.
Among the heavy classes of the party, RAM Gobind Chaudhary and Prasad’s eyes have been repeated from their traditional BANSDIH (Ballia) seats (Siddharth Nagar).
Important among SP MLAs that have been given tickets are Veteran Party Balram Yadav’s Son Sangram Singh Yadav from Atraulia, Faees Ahmed from Gopalpur, Durga Prasad Yadav from Azamgarh conscious and Alambadi from Nizamgad – all from the Azamgarh district.
The party has also maintained Virendra Yadav and other Om Prakash Singh from the constituency of Jahangirpur and Zamania.
The party has maintained Sitting MLA Shailendra Yadav Lallal from Shahganj and Latin SP Veteran Paras Nath Yadav, son of Lucky Yadav from Malhani – the chair he won at the Bypoll which was required by his father’s death in June 2020.
Other important names in the list including Arvind Singh Gope and Mehfooz Kidwai each of Dairabad and Ram Nagar.
Latin son Beni Prasad Verma Rakesh Verma is a party candidate from the chair.
However, party leadership has improved the constituency of three candidates, in terms of their seats in previous elections, reported ‘to find several winning combinations’.
The former MLA from Gosainganj, Abhay Singh, has been declared SP candidate from the chair while the former BSP MLA Puja Pal is the party’s choice of Chail in Kaushambi.
Pal is the final wife of BSP MLA Raju Pal, who was shot dead allegedly by Henchmen of Atiq in 2004.
