Data sharing Happening with WHO to Provide Appreciation to Covaxin: Govt

NEW DELHI: Data sharing is currently happening with WHO to provide appreciation to Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin, ” the authorities stated, noting it needs to attain this”landmark” when possible.
Responding to a query on appreciation of Covaxin from the WHO, NITI Aayog Member (Health) V K Paul stated the government is chasing it.
“we’ve been working with Bharat Biotech along with the WHO to make it occur.
There’s data sharing happening and we are extremely excited this milestone is accomplished whenever possible.

On May 24, Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech International Limited (BBIL) conveyed to the authorities that it’s already filed 90 percent of the files into the WHO for receiving emergency use list (EUL) to its Covaxin vaccine.
