Date Rock Blasting Vexes Jubilee Hills Residents

Hyderabad: The population of Jubilee Hills has woken up with the sound of large stones and stones that are being blown up in the area for the past few months.
Residents Ambedkar Nagar said that blasting on the nearest site occurred throughout the day.
The work continued even late at night.
“There were times when we heard the sound of a peacock and birds in the morning.
Now, everything we hear is blasting rock.
Birds even stopped coming to Lake Bathula Kunta,” said Ravikanth Chintala, who lived in a high-rise place near the construction site.
He accused that the debris was thrown into a small pool near the location.
“Most of the people who live in this area are retired employees or work night shifts.
We cannot rest during the day or at night because of the interference,” said Sampath Kumar Rao, a retired government employee added that they even filed a police complaint about this problem.
Meanwhile, activists said that the government should not sell a hill and try to preserve it.
“Local residents must talk to the developer and see if they are willing to integrate stones, hills to layout.
People, especially children will like it,” said Frue Quader, a Hyderabadi environment lover who was born in Germany and the Secretary of the Community to save rocks.
Jubilee Hills Police, meanwhile, confirmed that they received complaints against the developer because they caused voice pollution.
“We have examined the site and verifying permission.
The officials concerned monitor the sound level,” said S Rajasekhar Reddy, Station House Officer, police station Jubilee Hills.
