Gurugram: Minister of Haryana Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday directing the City and State Meeting Department (DTCP) to identify industrial areas and residential areas in the planned development of the Daultabad Road Industry.
The direction was given during the monthly complaint committee meeting chaired by CM at the Clothing House in Sector 44.
After the meeting, Khattar said the problem faced by the industry unit in the area was taken at a meeting, where they said their building plan was not approved because the area was located Under the residential zone.
Then it was decided that the DTCP would allocate separate areas for them.
“In the development plan, one part is for the industry and other parts are for housing purposes.
After separation of industrial estates, the industrial development plan will also be approved in the area,” Khattar said.
Pawan Kumar Jindal, President of the Regional Industry Association, said the unit has been operating there since 1966.
At present, 266 industrial units operate.
“Until 2016, the industrial development plan was approved by the City Council and MCG.
After that, MCG stopped giving approval,” he said.
In the meeting, Sanjeev Mann’s senior city planner said the area was placed under the housing zone in the development plan in 1994 and only the urban local agency department could give approval in the housing area, because his approval was stopped.
The problem of installation of illegal gate in the HSVP sector route was also raised in a meeting.
CM pointed that the gate was installed only after the approval of the Committee was based under the leadership of the deputy commissioner.
He said HSVP already had a policy for the installation of gate in the sector and directed the police to ensure that the rules were strictly followed.
“The rules will be made for the installation of the gate in the colony too.
Gates will be installed only after the panel approval under the leadership of the deputy commissioner, which will consist of police and representatives of RWA,” Khattar said.
