Davanagere: Makeup bag containing gold and silver ornaments, medicines, and cash, the contents cumulatively worth Rs 7.3 lakh, returned to the owner Shrinivas Raj km, residents of Kumbalauru in Harihar Taluk by Davanagere Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Afternoon on Sunday.
In a statement released by South Western Railway (SWR), it was revealed that Srinivas Raj traveled by train along with his wife on Mysuru-Solapur train, and got off at Harihar Station on Sunday.
Unfortunately, Srinivas forgot his bag in the train compartment.
Around 11 o’clock in the morning, when he realized that his bag was gone, he filed a complaint with RPF Davanagere.
Fortunately, personnel on the train ship have seen bags, and then took it, and signaled RPF officials.
In addition to RS 9,000 in cash, bags containing 100g gold, 100g silver, cellphones and several drugs.
