Ranchi: The decision of the Rajendra Institute of Medical (RIMS) to turn off “DAWAAI DOST”, a generic drug store used to provide drugs with subsidized tariffs, is likely to encourage poor medical expenses.
The patient visited the hospital almost four times.
This step was present after the 2015 decision made by the rim government agency where it was decided that the hospital would invite open tenders after the agreement ended with DAWAAI DOST.
However, because there was no tender invited after 2015 and after Jharkhand High Court called the rim administration about this problem, it directed the store under the window leaves in a month.
Director of Rims Dr.
Kameshwar Prasad said, “I have no knowledge of the decision of the body that governing in 2015 Dost’s strings must close the store and fresh tenders must be invited.
However, as soon as the High Court is looking for clarification on this issue, I track the details and issue orders.
“Asked about the difficulties that will be faced by many patients visited by Dost Dawai offering drugs in subsidized tariffs, Dr.
Prasad said as part of the temporary arrangement they have spoken to suppliers who provide drugs to conscious hospitals and will be available through Jan Ausadhi Kendra on the campus of the rim.
Meanwhile, some doctors and members of the Government Agency said the decision of the rim administration was in a hurry and expressed their displeasure on it.
“I see a lot of patients who are unable to buy drugs from private pharmacies and I recommend DAWAIAI DOST.
If the store is closed without the right alternative, poor patients will have a difficult time,” said Assistant Professor of the Department of Pelek Medicine.
MP Ranchi Sanjay Sangka also said, “DAWAAI DOST has provided its services to poor patients because it is a non-profit organization.
The rim must think of alternatives before removing the counter or another must suffer.”
