The school authority here blames the “stagnant mindset” of the guardian and students for a bad presence.
But the scene was completely different in private schools.
The school inspector in Kumbrup (Metro), Prasanna Borah, said it might need a few days to enter going to school mode.
“In the lower main class (up to class V), its presence is small, but most in the government managed by the government.
In many leading private schools here, we see classrooms packed today,” Borah told Toi, Tuesday.
The teacher is also on time, he said.
Minati Kalita, whose son is a government elementary school student in Panbazar, said they were not too familiar with technology and he sent his son to school without hesitation.
“Since 2020 we have not been able to send our children to school without interruption.
We cannot buy a home tutorial and connect with teachers regularly for online classes.
Physical class has brought great help,” he said.
However, in some Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) in the city, however, online class continues for class VIII until they are still waiting for instructions from higher authority.

The State Education Department has enabled the reopening of all schools (government and private) from class I to the university level, including technical institutions, with “normal ways” from Tuesday.
