JAIPUR: The hyped minute round of discussions involving the 22-member Gujjar delegation along with the state authorities on Friday ended inconclusively, however, using the assurance which the discussions could resume on Saturday.
The state authorities, however, explained that there was no issue of sending a letter to the Centre advocating ST standing for Gujjars.
The best thing imaginable, the authorities team stated, was a 4-6% reservation beneath the denotified tribe category.
According into some Gujjar leader that attended the meeting, BJP MP and federal treasurer Ramdas Agarwal, who had been heading the nation’s delegation of nine associates who tried his best for the Gujjars to take the Offer.

However, on Day 1 that the Gujjars didn’t seem willing to provide any floor and discussions were suspended for one hour.
It was just once NCP MLA from Delhi Ramvir Singh Bidhuri intervened the discussions resumed.
However, it didn’t go on for extended and the two parties agreed to meet on Saturday to thrash out these problems.
Not one of those Gujjars’ additional requirements, including an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh for people who died in police shooting, government projects to the kin of the victims and also lack of cases against the agitators, were mentioned on Friday.
After the assembly, Agarwal told reporters the discussions have been held in a cordial air.
Asked if agitation spearhead Col Kirori Singh Bainsla would attend another round of discussions, he stated, ���we’ve sent an open invitation and he’s welcome to join .
