Lucknow: On the second jolt of the second to BJP in a few days, the cabinet minister of Dara Singh Chauhan on Wednesday followed his former Tarier colleague Swami Prasad Maurya from the Yogi Adityanath government after accusing “damaging” Dalit and backward.
Both Chauhan and Maurya defected BJP from BSP Mayawati in 2015.
Chauhan, who holds the environment and forest portfolio, said in his resignation to Governor Anandiben Patel that the allegations of the BJP government apathy against Dalits and back to impose his hands.
