Day Later’Neglected’ Discussions, govt corporatizes OF

Nagpur: Trade unions in ordnance factories were first taken by surprise following the Union cabinet took a decision to corporatize the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB).
The OFB, that will be a government division currently, will have created a public company and divide into seven entities.So much conversations were under way involving the unions and government throughout Central Labour Commissioner (CLC).
On June 15, the CLC registered a failure file, so the negotiaitons have neglected.
This occurred suddenly without consulting with us in closing phases, said that the union leaders added that the very second day cupboard emptied corporatization of their OFB.
The three marriages, such as Left-leaning All India Defence Employees Federation (AIDEF), Congress’ Indian National Defence Workers’ Federation, and also RSS’ Bharatiya Pratiraksha Mazdoor Sangh (BPMPS), intend to hold a meeting on Sunday.

The authorities took a stance which corporatization has been a policy choice and a non-negotiable problem with all the unions,” explained C Srikumar, general secretary of AIDEF.
“On June 15the CLC registered a loser record without consulting the unions” he stated and addded even asks to maintain the last assembly after June 18 have been dismissed.
R Srinivasan, general secretary of INDWF, stated,”The rush to shut the situation was clear.

This was verified by Mukesh Singh, general secretary of BPMS.Unions cannot instantly proceed with an impending strike because Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) was evoked.
The sequence will last until June 24.
“Until then the no attack could be held,” said Singh.
“Throughout the protests we’ll also emphasize the event of Indo-Russia Rifles Private Limited, the joint venture to establishing a plant to construct AK-203 rifles in Amethi.

There are not any marriages here in order to postpone the job,” he explained.
