New Delhi: Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) has received approval from the APEX Agency for examination, certification and equality with another recognized council, Deputy Chief of Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Friday.
This step will allow students from DBSE affiliated schools to be accepted on other boards and their certificates will apply to enter in higher education institutions.

With Cobse and AIU approval, DBSE is all set to change learning assessments,” Sisodia said.
“In the provision of copse membership to the Delhi Board of school education, secondary secondary examination and higher conducted and the certificate issued by it will have equality with the appropriate certificate from the Cobse member board,” read the letter issued by the Board of School Board in India (COBSE) who is responsible for verifying the authenticity / recognition of the school education council in India.
Previously, the Leadership Council of the University of India (AIU), an inter-university organization that acted as a university representative in India, approved the DBSE proposal and was completed to “provide equality to the Delhi, Delhi School Council, with CBSE and other recognized Indian Councils” .
With these agreements, students who faint from DBSE school will have universal recognition and acceptance, the same as the certificate issued by the CBSE and other recognized councils.
Mark sheets and certificates issued by DBSE will be accepted by all the recognized councils and Indian universities.
Earlier this year, the Delhi government has approved the formation of DBSE to stay away from one time later this year, the memorization-based learning system and vice versa create a sustainable assessment framework.
In the current academic year, 30 schools are affiliated with DBSE.
In the next few years, all Delhi government schools will be affiliated with DBSE which have begun to function in partnership with International Baccalaureate (IB).
In addition, a private school recognized in the city will also have the choice to interpret themselves with DBSE.
Recently, the Delhi government signed a collaborative agreement with Baccalaureate International (IB), an international council recognized with its presence at 5,500 schools in 159 countries.
“This collaboration will help DBSE in introducing international best practices in Delhi schools and providing world-class capacity development programs to their teachers,” Sisodia said.
The Delhi government has also started 20 special excellence schools (SOSS) which are intended to provide special education to students in their dignity and talent domains.
All sausages are also affiliated with DBSE.
As a result, students who faint from these schools will be treated with the same footing along with students who pass from other councils recognized.
