DBSE to affiliate 30 government schools in their first academic year

New Delhi: Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) will be affiliated as many as 30 schools managed by the government in their first academic year (2021-22), an official said on Tuesday.

The decision was taken during the Second DBSE General Agency meeting chaired by Deputy Chairperson of the Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, on Tuesday.
Of all this, 20 schools will specialize in temporary advantages 10 will become public schools.
Officials said that these 20 special school excellence will be spread in Delhi.

Of this 20 schools, eight will specialize in stems, five each in the humanities and upscale skills, and two in visual arts.
The Board has also decided to establish 100 special excellence schools during the next academic year.
“Students at school special excellence will receive excellent learning opportunities in their field of interest that will enable them to join some of the best universities and institutions in the country and abroad.
It is important to identify and provide special education to students,” said Sisodia , which also holds an education portfolio in Delhi administration.
Sisodia further stated that the Delhi government is committed to providing world-class education to children.
“In the last five years, we have worked to increase the basics of education systems in Delhi.
We are now aspiring to be the best in the world.
Our vision is to create government schools in Delhi which is equivalent to international schools.

To create a progressive curriculum and assessment structure for Delhi School, DBSE partnered with the Organization of Research and Assessment, Australian Council for Educational Research (Acer), which is credited with designing a globally recognized program for the Assessment of International Students (Pisa).
Separate educational boards for Delhi – DBSE – appeared on March 19, after registration under the community registration law, 1860.
Delhi cabinet has approved a proposal to establish DBSE on March 6 this year.
