DDMA extends Covid Curbs until December 31

New Delhi: In a decision that will limit Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday extended until December 31, midnight related to Covid-19 such as a prohibition of social and cultural meetings and lid at the bar and restaurant for operates with 50 percent seating capacity.
In a command, DDMA said the activities currently allowed and limited in Delhi will continue until the night of the intervention (12.00 hours) on December 31 and January 1 1.
Below the reopening gradually with the enhanced Covid-19 situation in the city, DDMA has been permitted Most of the activities.
However, political, social, cultural, religious and other meetings are still not permitted.
Apart from the lid of 50 percent of the seating capacity at the bar and restaurant, the order also continues restrictions at the banquet hall to hold events in addition to meetings and conferences, exhibitions and marriage.
In the pre-covid period, hotels, bars, restaurants and the banquet room were once filled with enthusiasm during Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The restaurant owner was disappointed with the decision and said they hoped to recover losses that occurred during pandemics by arranging events on new year and Christmas events.
Rahul Singh, the owner of the cafe beer, said, “Multiplex, cinema room, bus – everywhere 100 percent capacity is permitted.
So what have we done to get this? This is disappointing.
We hope to get out of the loss that the industry has suffered during Pandemic but now it looks difficult.
“He said it could be understood that there was a threat of omicron variants from Coronavirus but questioned whether the restaurant and singling bar were the only solution to ward off the fear of infection.
Joy Singh, partner partner Raasta and Yeti, said, “We have had several bookings for Christmas and New Year and we have to return money from several customers and it will be a loss for us.
Of course, customers will still do a preference in order.

“If by taking some precautions, we can contain the spread of the virus and prevent situations that can call total locking, better,” he said.
