DDMA Panel recommends reopening schools for grade 6 to 8 in Delhi

New Delhi: DDMA Constituted Panel has recommended the school to reopen the school for grades 6 to 8 in Delhi with 50 percent of the strength of students because it records that there are no examples reported by Covid-19 local transmission improvements due to reopening class 9 to 12, according to the DDMA meeting minutes .

However, Krishna Vatsa, Member, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) believes that schools for grade 6 to 8 must be opened from October 1 and for others can be opened after Diwali.
Schools in the national capital were ordered to be closed last year in March before the national lock to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.
While some countries began the reopening of some schools in October last year, the Delhi government only allowed the physical class for the 9-12 class in January this year, which was again suspended following an exponential increase in the second wave of aggressive.
