Dead Child After 5 Days Fever, Doctors suspect pneumonia

Ghaziabad: A two-year-old boy who suffered fever for five days died on Friday.
The child was undergoing treatment at a private facility at Sihani and was taken to the emergency ward of the MMG Regency Hospital where the doctor said he died.
The child reportedly had such a pneumonia and nebuliser had been given him.
Dr.
RK Gupta District Supervision Officer said: “The child named Anurag, who lives in Noor Nagar, Sihani, died on Friday.
Recently, his family came to the city from Azamgarh and soon after that, his son and brother The five-year-old got a fever.
While the girl recovered, the condition of Anurag did not improve.
He was taken to a local doctor and then to a private hospital on Thursday.
Then, the child shifted to the district hospital.
The boy’s parents have never reported fever or Other symptoms.
“The Ministry of Health has ruled out Dengue, Malaria and Typhus scrub as a cause of death.
“We talked to a private hospital where the child was treated and found that he had symptoms such as pneumonia and nebuliser had been given.
But we have sent malaria and the response team that quickly to the location to do an anti-larval drive,” said Gupta, added that A detailed medical history of children is being prepared.
The boy was taken to the district hospital at around 12:30 a.m.
on Friday.
Senior medical officer Dr.
Ak Vishwakarma said the boy died after the examination.
“The child was taken dead.
The boy’s father told us that he went down with a fever.
We have reminded the Ministry of Health,” he said.
He added that the body was handed over to the family because the father’s father refused to complete post-Mortem.
