The Ministry of Health team visits the place and collects water samples.
“Actions will be taken by the relevant departments such as fisheries or GPCB.
But the SMC health department team is very monitoring the situation,” said SMC health official.
“If more fish are found in the next few days, we will start an investigation with support from other departments,” the official added.
In the past, thousands of dead fish were found on Dumas Beach.
Sea experts say that because of a decrease in dissolved oxygen in water, sometimes dead fish in large quantities.
