Jaipur: Two lovers allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves from trees in Dungarpur District in Rajasthan on Saturday, police said.
Shankar Roat (20) and Bhuri Khant (18) have a love affair for some time.
Their family members learned about their relationship recently, following their objection and forcing them to stay away with each other, police said.
Shankar reached the village of girl under the area of the Sagwara Police Station, from where they went to a place insulated nearby and hanged herself from a tree with the help of a rope, police said.
The body has shifted to hospital illness for post-mortem.
