Coimbatore: Two autistic minor boys struggled to live their lives in a private hospital here after their 42-year-old father gave them pesticide foods that were anchored on Thursday.
The man, who also consumed food, died at Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) on Friday.
Police identify the deceased as S Samidurai, original Valpaya.
“He worked as a plate in a private company in Coimbatore City and lived in a rented house in Ngr Street in Saranallur with his wife Ramalakshmi and the 10 and 13-year-old son had been going to ESI Hospital on Thursday to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

With the help of his relatives, Ramalakshmi took his son to a private hospital, where they underwent treatment in the intensive care unit.
Samidurai was taken to CMC, but the doctor could not save him.
