Letter: Two sanitation workers died in Chalthan Palsana Taluka Village, allegedly because of breathing dangerous smoke that began to originate when they poured some chemicals in the got hole to clean.
Unintentional GIDC police registered further death.
According to police officers, two Manhole workers – Pramod Teji (30) and Vishal Pol (38) – contracted to cleanse the Manhole of the Sarvottam building.
On Monday night, Teji and Pol entered the Manhole hole and poured some chemicals to clean it.
However, this results in some chemical reactions and they fall unconscious because of suffocation and smoke inhalation.
Their family was told about the incident and they were taken to the hospital where the doctor stated they died on the entrance ticket.
