Nirmal Daga, Caladium residents, said: “No civil authorities are willing to take responsibility.
Because our area now falls below the MCG limit, developers who maintain street lights, no longer quote that it is not their responsibility.” More than 3,000 families live in the area.
A senior MCG official said, “The internal sector road has not been taken over by MCG to start a repair work or replacement of street lights.
If the road lights are installed by the developer, it is their responsibility to defend it until the authority of the citizenship takes over assets,” said an official.
Meanwhile, a senior HSVP official said street lights at the Masters on Functional Road and “If they are not functioning, I will make it checked and immediately repaired”.
