Chandigarh: Head of Punjab AAP Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday alleged that there was a “agreement” between Charanjit Minister Singh Channi and the Badal family to save the leader of the Bikram Singh Majithia who had been ordered in a drug case.
The Punjab High Court and Haryana on Monday have given him anticipatory guarantee in narcotics drugs and the laws of psychotropic submitted against him.
He was directed to join the police investigation on Wednesday.
The former Minister of Punjab has been asked not to leave the country until the next hearing date.
Aam Aadmi Party Leader Mann accused that the “weak” case was registered against Majithia.
“There was an agreement between Channi and the Badal family even before FIR that the Congress government would submit a weak case against Majithia and there was no concrete action to be taken.
That is why the Congress government does not capture Majithia even after its pine or rejection.
Anticipatory guarantees from the Mohali Court,” Alleged Mann in a statement here.
Majithia was booked on December 20 years under narcotics narcotics and psychotropic substances (NDPS) acting based on 2018 reports on investigations into drug racquets in the state.
The report was submitted by the Head of the Anti-Drug Special Assignment (STF) Harpreet Singh Sidhu in the Punjab High Court and Haryana in 2018.
Mann said that legal action against Majithia in drug cases fulfilled the fate of Singh Raja Warring’s transportation.
The action against the Badal family bus, “because the leaders of Congress did not take legal action to punish the Mafia”.
“As a result, today the Badal bus is on the road and Majithia will roam freely like that”.
Mann said if AAP was chosen to be in power, it would reopen these files and cases to take exemplary action against each mafia and corrupt leaders.
Mann said the Punjab people would choose the AAM AADMI party government.
“The AAM AAM Party is ready for the development of Punjab.
Roadmap for the development of the agricultural sector, industry, education, medical care and eliminating unemployment and poverty is ready.
AAP is a secular party and we will form positive brotherhood and politics in the state,” he said.
Meanwhile, the AAP leader Raghav Chadha said his party did not publish a pamphlet stating that the Punjab people had to take money from political parties or leaders and choose AAP.
Chadha said AAP was an honest party and the Punjab people knew it.
