Mangaluru: Ullal police have arrested a young man on charges of reducing suicide after the death of Internal MBBS on Sunday.
Based on the complaint submitted by the victim’s parents, the police arrested Sujish, 24, his classmates and Palakkad residents in Kerala, who lived in the same apartment building as the victim.
It was alleged that the victim was upset after Sujish allegedly ignored him.
Vaishali Gaikwad, 25, MBBS internship at a private hospital and originated from Bidar, was found hanging in his apartment on Sunday.
He shared a flat with another friend on the 12th floor.
The incident was revealed at 10:45 a.m.
when a friend tried to reach the deceased.
When Vaishali did not receive a call, his friend rushed to the apartment and found it hanging on the ceiling fan.
