“The water has reached the level of regulations, therefore additional water is being thrown into downstream.
The capacity of river water carrier is downstream more than 3.25 lakh cusecs, there is no risk for human habitat near the river at the level of vaginal discharge at this time,” said an official in Madhuban Dam.
Inflow in the UKAI dam gradually fell over the past two days, but the discharge of the dam has increased when water flows above the regulatory level.

The dam level is 341.80 feet, almost two feet above the 340 foot rule level.
