And in big developments in this direction, the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMR) on Friday does not provide an objection certificate (NOC) to start passenger services in the nine km priority section of the Metro Kanpur Metro project that has been built between Iit-Kanpur & Motijheel, Has nine metro stations elevated.
CMRS Janak Kumar Garg has provided NOC after a strict inspection for three days in the priority section.
Now, the income operation in the section is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 28.
Chairman of the Minister of Yogi Adityanath will also be present during the inauguration ceremony.
After the inauguration on December 28, passenger services will begin on December 29.
Inspection by CMR has begun on December 20, 2021.
During this period, he with his team checking tracks, recipients of the Metro station, and depots.
He also took court from the Metro train from IIT to Motijheel.

With only a few days left before the start of the Metro service, all the necessary preparations have been made.
All metro stations are decked up.
Depot in Gurudev Crossing is ready.
There are a total of nine stations on route nine kilometers which means one station at a distance of one kilometer.
Four Metro trains will run at first on the nine kilometers.
All stations are on the exalted track.
On the first floor of the metro station, tickets will be available.
Metro will depart from the second floor of the station.
All necessary passenger facilities are available at the station.
The lowest cost of the ticket has been set at Rs 10.
To travel from one Metro station to another, passengers will have to go down Rs 10.
To travel up to two metro stations, tickets will be charged from one Metro station for at least three or up to six stations, Passengers must pay Rs 20 for tickets.
And to travel up to seven or more stations, passengers must pay Rs 30.
