Dehradun: During his first visit to Delhi after taking over as Uttarakhand CM, Pushkar Singh Dhami met PM Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah on Saturday.
Among the problems discussed are those related to holding Yatra Kanwar and Char Dham Yatra.
Cloud uncertainty currently hangs on the second behavior of Yatras, which is the main annual pilgrimage identified by Uttarakhand.
The source close to Cm confirmed that he held a discussion with Modi and Shah on Yatras.
Then, Dhami said that the decision would be taken at Kanwar Yatra after speaking with neighboring countries Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Himachal Pradesh because most Kanwarias came from these countries.
The government has announced that it will allow Kanwar Yatra from July 25.
Yatra has been canceled by the Government of Tirath Singh and led at Uttarakhand last month after the Covid-19 situation review shows it is not wise to allow pilgrimage.
