Bengaluru: A day before the Karnataka Government decided on the future of the Covid-19 sidewalk in all the states, Revenue Minister R Ashoka on Thursday said life and livelihood would be considered a decision.
Clarification that there is no confusion in the government regarding the sidewalk, the minister said the view expressed by leaders from all political parties and several organizations would also be taken into account, before making a decision.
“Regarding Covid guidelines, the minister’s head has held an important meeting at 1pm tomorrow with senior ministers.
The opinions expressed by leaders of various political parties and organizations regarding existing sidewalks, and central guidelines will also be considered,” Ashoka said.
Speaking to reporters here, he said there were around 15-20 districts in the state where cases were low, while in cities such as Bengaluru and Mysore, the number increased.
“While protecting the lives of people, the government must also facilitate their livelihoods, especially poor and daily wage workers, remembering all this, we will arrive at a decision.
I am sure that the main minister will announce a decision that will be good for the people,” Add it.
The Chairman of the Minister of BikeVaraj Bommai on Wednesday said his government would re-examine the existing Covid-19 sidewalk, and would make decisions about relaxation, including weekend hours on Friday.
With a surge in cases, the government last week decided to extend existing Covid sidewalks such as night at night hours and weekend hours until the end of January.
Asked about any confusion in government as shown about casual sidewalks when the case is expected to peak, according to experts, at the end of this month and early February, Ashoka said, “There is no confusion in the government, if anyone who made the statement was Their personal, which will also be remembered before making a decision tomorrow.
