Greater Noida: The deck has finally been cleaned to set up six new substations in the city, with a larger Noida authority to decide to provide a grant RS 1,000 Crore to Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation limited to the same thing.

Six Gas-Insulation System (GIS) Substation includes two of 220KV respectively, one of 132KV, each from 133kV and two of 400 KV respectively in Jalpura, Knowledge Park 5, Ecotech 8, Ecotech 10/11, Depot Metro Station and Amarpur, respectively.
The work on this substation was stopped before because of the impact of the GST double on Gnida to build this power station and procurement equipment associated with it.
But now, the state government has directed Gnida to give money as a grant to UPPTCL to complete work in 2023.
Narendra Bhoooshan, CEO of Gnida, said, “Greater Noida developed as a data center, the housing sector also developed quickly.
Apart from that, The institutional sector also developed in the region.
Given the demand for electricity in the future, it was decided to build a new six power station where the authority would provide a 1,000 crore RS grant .
All substations are given various areas ranging from 5,000 square meters to 40,000 square meters, “said Puneet Gupta, UPPTLCL.
