New York: The temperature that falls throughout the northeastern US will bring a few helpful days of this winter and threaten to bury the West York in the snow while suggesting warming up to the highest in eight years.
New York City is expected to dip 13 degrees Fahrenheit (-11 degrees Celsius) Monday night, which has been cold since February 2019, while Washington will see the temperature of sinking up to 19 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Boston will drop to 5 degrees Tuesday night.
Cold followed a warmer December than normal in the middle of the Atlantic and northeast, including New York, Washington, Philadelphia, and Boston.
Such cold is likely to be surprising for many people because winter is quite light in recent years, said David Roth, senior branch fortune teller at the US weather prediction center.
