Default Loans: South Delhi School for auction

New Delhi: It’s awesome because it’s heard, schools in the city are auctioned to fail loan payments.
Raisina Bengali School in Taman Chittaranjan Delhi Selatan took a loan RS 2 Crore in 2005 from United Bank of India, but after failing to pay money, the principal and interest now stood at Rs 8 Crore.
The debt recovery court has ordered that the school will go under the hammer on January 14.
The property to be sold has a senior part of the school where around 900 students are currently studying.
Sales take place, if auction is done, will go to Asrec India Ltd, a company that obtains non-performing assets from the bank.
The order passed by DRT on November 11 observed that the school failed to pay debts even though there were many opportunities to do it.
DRT also said that the previous school had been allowed to sell land to collect a maturity amount.
“Travel and guarantee given by new management (school) are considered in true spirits by this forum.
This shows that the soft view has been taken by this forum but it seems (school) is not interested in paying back …
further opportunities will thwart the process Recovery and will cause unnecessary delays because there are no concrete offered by (school).
“The order was read.
According to members of the current school government body, which is installed in 2019, responsibility is the result of “actions that are not permitted and violated the law” by the previous member.
Chitra Maji, current limbs, accused, “This loan was traded by several office carriers later without the consent or permission of the People’s Government Agency Raisina Bengali Schools.
We have pursued all possible steps to resolve disputes and ensure legal compliance after taking over in July 2019, but non-completion of accounts and non-audits since 2015-16 have hampered our efforts.
“Maji added,” We take steps to resolve the delayed audit, but because of the non-compliance from 2016-17 then, the big sentence is actually applied in School by Income Tax Authority.
” Appeal of assistance from customers, Maji said, “The people and schools run by them are fully dependent on voluntary contributions or contributions from customers.
All good and public sympathizers are truly asked to make the maximum possible contribution.” East Bengal Refugee Association now has requested intervention by the Delhi government.
In a letter to Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who is also the Minister of Education, Secretary of the Association, PK Paulus, said, “With the efforts of our association, the land is intended and allocated by the ministry to several prestigious schools, Raisina Bengali schools become one of them.
We have been approached By many former students and social groups to try and find a solution to resolve this problem so that the school can be saved from auctioned.
“He also urged the government to start the investigation of how the loan was approved against the mortgage of a rental land.
