Lucknow: After inaugurating the Purvanchal 341km freeway from Sultanpur, PM Narendra Modi on Friday will put the foundation of the RS 400-Crore Defense Industry Corridor project in Jhansi in the presence of the three heads of the armed forces.

Around 5pm PM Modi will dedicate many initiatives from the defense sector in ‘RAS Heltra Raksha Samparpan Parv ‘, which was marked by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday.
The event will continue until November18 as part of the celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Modi will also launch the NCC Alumni Association to provide a formal platform to allow NCC alumni to be re-connected with NCC.
A former NCC cadet, Modi will be registered as the first member of the association, which is mentioned to help “the nation building”.
At the same time, Modi will spice up a national program of simulation training for NCC cadets to improve simulation training facilities for all three NCC wings.
