CHATRA: The job to build a museum in the Maa Bhadrakali temple at Itkhori came to a standstill following the adviser firm failed to offer the map of this undertaking.
The officers of the building structure department asked the enterprise to extend the map as it failed to honor, a brand new map needed to be pulled up and sent for approval into the tourism section.
Sources said that the Rs 4.5 crore was sanctioned for the building of a museum as several archaeological findings dating back to the 9th century were kept at an area in the temple premises.
Itkhori is a historical center of confluence for all three religions — Hinduism, Jainisim and Buddhism.
The state authorities had plans to create the location for a tourist hotspot and it chose to build an island, a giant prayer wheel, also a mega club, parks and restaurants, amongst others.
