MUMBAI: The BMC on Monday issued requests saying Mumbai would still continue to stay under par 3 limitations till June 27 in light of the populace, topography, the amount of individuals using local trains and also the prospect of another Covid-19 wave.
The orders said Mumbai’s hardness rate was 3.8percent and oxygen bed occupancy was 23.6 percent.
The arrangement signed by BMC leader Iqbal Chahal said the decision could be reviewed afterwards.
Chahal had informed TOI a week that Mumbai would still continue to stay under par 3 limitations till Covid instances are down to 100-300 daily.
“We’re taking a very careful and graded method of unlocking so we do not need to return to lockdown,” he’d said.
