New Delhi: Delhi police have ordered as many as 1,320 people in the national capital for violating Covid norms on the first day of the second weekend at the capital, said an official on Sunday.
“A total of 1,320 Covid Challan was issued on Saturday,” the official said.
To curb the spread of Covid-19 further, the capital’s current capital remains under a tight curfew from 10pm, Friday to 5 on Monday.
Apart from Covid’s violations, the official said, the firm was registered against 479 people under Section 188 (disobedience to be processed properly announced by civil servants) from the KUHAP.
Triggered by the Omicron variant, the Covid-19 situation in Delhi Suram, according to Health Minister Satyendar Jain, this city is likely to witness a little panties in this case.
“The capital is expected to witness around 17,000 cases today,” said Minister of Health.
The police have asked residents to comply with the guidelines for the week at night and follow the appropriate Covid-19 behavior.
Previously, during the first weekend locking on January 8-9, almost 1,500 people in the national capital were ordered for violating Covid norms.
Meanwhile, Jain emphasized that restrictions such as night and coercion curged curgations have begun to produce results because of the number of cases issued from the last two-three days.
