New Delhi: The opening of the Najafgarh-Dhansa Bus Stand part of the Gray Line of Delhi Metro on Friday has been postponed by two weeks.
Anuj Dayal, executive director (corporate communication), DMRC said the opening was postponed for around two weeks since the resolution of the road that provided access to the station from the nearest part of the delayed areas.
“Some of the vital road links that connect Khaira Mor with Gopal Nagar must be blocked for heavy vehicles because of construction work at the reversal facility outside the station standing Dhansa,” Dayal said.
“However, after completion of tunneling work in the reversal area, the road is now being restored and will be ready soon,” he added.
A spokesman for the DMRC said the date of inauguration of the Najafgarh-Dhansa bus holder would be intimidated immediately after completing a delayed job.
The inauguration of the trilokpuri section in the pink line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar) by Minister of Perat for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be held on Friday, as announced before.
