Delhi: 2 Family Prisoners Resistant in Gunpoint, Nabbed

New Delhi: Two armed criminals held a family captive in Gunpoint after being trapped in their home in Northeast Delhi’s as mixed while escaping from the police team from the beginning.
The police have carried out raids to catch the two men who are looking for.
In a short fire exchange, the two men were shot at the feet and the victims were saved by the police.
People who were arrested were identified as Shahbej alias Shahbej Qureshi who were 25 years old, a 25-year-old Jafrabad resident and Arbaj, who were recently released from prison with parole.
Two pistols loaded and magazines were confiscated from them.
The meeting took place at 12.35 in the morning after the police stormed a house in Nand Ram Mohalla in Brahwaluri in Jafrabad after a tip-off that the two criminals wanted to hide on the first floor of the building.
However, as soon as the police team headed to the first floor, the two criminals ran towards the terrace so they would not be trapped.
DCP (northeast) Sanjay Kumar Sain said when the police team chased them, the duo jumped to the building terrace side by side and entered a house.
“Our people combed the area and looked for all the nearest houses.
One house was found locked from the inside and the owner did not open the gate despite recurring efforts.
The police were suspicious and kept tapping.
Immediately, the owner of the house opened the gate.
He looked scared and asked the team to Save his family.
He said that the two men hid in his house and host his family in Gunpoint, “added Sain.
When Arbaj and Shawaj heard the police approached and realized that they were trapped, they opened fire.
“They fired three rounds.
In retaliation, the police team shot them at their feet.
They were controlled and their weapons were confiscated.
Family members were saved safely,” DCP said.
