New Delhi: Two people were injured after the DTC bus crashed into a scooter in the area of the West Delhi Nagar Day, police said on Friday.
The bus driver, Mangal Shain Dheeren, was arrested on charges of negligent rashes and driving, they said.
Of the two injured in the incident on Thursday, Dinesh (32), a resident of Nihal Vihar, was undergoing treatment at DDU Hospital, while other Ranjati was being treated at Chaanan Devi’s eyes, they said.
In Dinesh’s statement, a case under the IPC 279 section (driving rash or driving public), 337 (causing injured by the actions that endanger the personal life or safety of others) and 338 (causing sadness that endangers the life or safety of others) has been registered, said a police officer.
