New Delhi: Three people, including two police officers, had been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a calling center employee and demanded Rs 5 lakh to release him.
A pine was registered against them at the Paharganj police station after the victim provided a written complaint that accused the kidnapping.
However, the police accused of stating that they were conducting an investigation.
The police accused of being identified as Amit and Pradeep, while their colleagues are Tajvinder, a former service.
The victim, in his complaint, said that the police raided the call center and accused it false.
They allegedly detained the victim, a manager there, with the pretext of questions and investigations.
The victim claimed that he was placed in the car and was taken to Dwarka.
He was made to call his family and ask Rs 5 lakh.
