NEW DELHI: A group of 200 farmers reached Mantar in the center of Delhi on Thursday to protest three controversial agricultural laws as a rainy season session ongoing.
The police threw a security ring around Central Delhi and maintained strict misery on the movement of the vehicle.

After reaching Jantar Mantar, farmers caused slogans, demanding the government of three laws.
The farmers who protested were limited to a small portion of the manner with the police installing a barricade on both sides.
Several teams from Delhi police oversee the road to protest places, while personnel of action forces are fast, a special unit of the central reserve police forces, standing guards on the site, carrying a shield of riots and sticks.
Water cannon gate and metal detector have been deployed on the site.
Two tankers carrying drinking water are also placed there.
Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), the union umbrella body pioneered the protest against three agricultural laws, has been asked to provide a business that all Covid-19 norms will be followed and stir will be peaceful.
Even though SKM said that their protest in Jantar Mantar will continue until the end of the Monson Parliament session on August 13, the Governor of Lieutenant has given permission to protest until August 9, this is the first time since the violence in the national capital during the tractor rally on January 26 that the authorities have been Giving permission to farmers who protested to hold a demonstration in the city.
Protest collection is currently not allowed in the national capital considering the Covid-19 pandemic, according to orders by Delhi Disaster Management Authority.
Thousands of farmers from all over the country have been nervous at three border points of Delhi – Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur – against three agricultural laws that they claim will get rid of the minimum support price system, leaving them on the mercy of the big corporation.
More than 10 rounds of talks with the government, which has projected laws on major agricultural reforms, has failed to break the deadlock between the two parties.
