NEW DELHI: A group of 200 farmers reached Mantar in the center of Delhi on Thursday to protest three controversial agricultural laws as a rainy season session ongoing.

Even though SKM said that their protest in Jantar Mantar will continue until the end of the Monson Parliament session on August 13, the Governor of Lieutenant has given permission to protest until August 9, this is the first time since the violence in the national capital during the tractor rally on January 26 that the authorities have been Giving permission to farmers who protested to hold a demonstration in the city.

More than 10 rounds of talks with the government, which has projected laws on major agricultural reforms, has failed to break the deadlock between the two parties.
