New Delhi: Chairman of the Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday informed the government’s preparedness in the midst of Covid-19 cases which surged in the national capital and said that there were 37,000 oxygen beds available in the city with only 0.22 percent of those occupied .
Overcoming a press conference here, Kejriwal said, “Today we have a preparation of 37,000 beds.
Only 82 oxygen beds occupied in Delhi.
Only 0.22 percent of beds occupied and 99.78 percent of the beds were not inhabited.” The minister further urges people not to panic because the cases detected are mostly without symptoms with smaller hospitalization needs.
“On December 29, 262 beds were occupied at New Delhi Hospital by Covid patients.
On January 1, 1,247 patients were totally accepted.
That means people who are infected with Covid, most of them do not need to be hospitalized.
There is a mild case and asymptomatic, “he said.
“The Covid-19 case in Delhi increased rapidly.
