Delhi: 53 Africans held violence at the police station

New Delhi: Delhi Police have launched a crackdown against African citizens living in and around Mohan Garden in West Delhi after a horde rampage at a police station after the death of a Nigerian.
The police said on September 26, after death, a horde came to the police station and attacked the police, which led to hard action.
Fifty-three people have been arrested for riots.
The police said they fired three rounds into the air to disperse the crowd.
According to the police, the protesters – most Nigerians and some of Ghana and Ivory Coast – have accused that the victim died due to the decline when pursued by the police.
Senior police officials denied this.
The deceased runs a small shop that sells African goods.
The police said he fainted at the store and was taken to the hospital by his friends.
“We have cracked down on people who live illegally, and this year, we have caught around 75 people who live here without valid paper.
They were also angry because of the problem,” said a police officer.
The patient changed with the hospital violence: Door-to-Door survey police have been conducted in April to identify those who live illegally in this country.
Three police officials were injured in violence.
They have been identified as Constable Aniles, ASI Ram Karan and Connectable Malkeet, who suffer a fracture on his arm.
According to FIR, which was submitted to the complaint of the assignment officer at the police station when the commotion occurred, a call was received from Tarak Hospital about Nigeria Nigeria who was taken dead.
The caller said about 50-60 people with victims did not provide information needed to make MLC and hence PCR assistance needed.
The call was marked by Vinod’s ASI, which reached the hospital with other officials.
Around 12 in the morning, another call was accepted about “one hundred” Nigeria approached the Garden Mohan police station.
After they reached the gate, around 20-25 of them, armed with bricks, stones, stems and sticks, attacking the police and damaged property.
“They say ‘kill them’ and the situation is increasingly uncontrollable,” said FIR.
When the horde did not pay attention to several warnings, the assignment officer fired four rounds into the air to dissolve the crowd and eight people were arrested from that place.
Police officials at the Station were losing the number with the Sho area, along with other officials, was in the hospital to hold the crowd.
“There were patients at the hospital and they turned off the violence there too.
They attacked the ambulance and we even had to shift the body since someone spread rumors that the police chased the victim when he fainted and died,” said a police officer.
