New Delhi: A 62-year-old man was shot dead in the range of empty spots while he was sleeping outside his home at Palam during early morning.
The police have detained family members from the brother who died of suspicion of murder with whom he had previously had an argument for several ongoing construction work.
The deceased man has been identified as Ajeet Singh, a resident of Harjan Basti in the extension of Palam.
According to the police, the call of the murder was received at 7:30 a.m.
“The crime and forensic team was sent to the place for detailed inspections and the body shifted to the upadhyay dayal hospital for postmortem examination.
A empty cartridge was restored from the bed he was sleeping,” said a senior police officer.
“The deceased family stated that on Monday, several quarrels and arguments occurred because of the construction work carried out by Singh, with Rajbir, son of Krishhan, Singh’s brother.
They said that they suspected Rajbir or Krishhan behind the murder,” the officer said that.
The police have detained Krishhan’s family members of the suspicion of murder and incident were examined from all possible angles.
