NEW DELHI: A 65-year-old guy was killed by intruders during a robbery bidding in his house in southwest Delhi’s Chhawla place on Wednesday.
The deceased has been known as Udaiveer.
Udaiveer dwelt with his spouse, Vidya, along with boy, Sanjay, at Durga Vihar neighborhood.
He and his wife were at home on Wednesday afternoon when three men entered the home on the pretext of asking for water.
Vidya seen them committing the prosecution and raised the alert and the offenders tied up her and confined her into the restroom.
Hearing his wife yell, Udaiveer landed there and also faced the offenders and the trio strangled him fled.
Neighbours afterwards arrived at the home hearing Vidya increase alarm and educated their son and authorities regarding the incident.
Udaiveer was announced dead on arrival at a hospital.
An FIR was lodged and groups are made to detain the offenders.
Cops are now scanning the footage of CCTV cameras set up in the area and anticipate a breakthrough shortly.
