New Delhi: A 18-year-old boy at a restaurant in the Southwest Chhawla Delhi area was shot dead by two people, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as safe, aka saam Sabir, from JJ Colony, Bawana, they said.
The Chhawla police station was told at around 7pm, Monday about two people opened fire on someone inside the restaurant, heaven on earth, located in Khaira Road, said a senior officer.
Allegations have come to restaurants as customers and sit inside after making an order, he said.
When it is safe to leave, one of them shot him and fled, the officer said.
The victim was taken to Rao Tula Ram Hospital, where he was declared dead, he said.
The case below section 302 (murder) and 34 (general intentions) of the Indian and ARM punishment code has been registered, the officer said.
The police were examining CCTV footage of the region, and efforts were made to arrest the defendant, he added.
Safely filled up for his friend Mahesh Kumar, who worked in the restaurant and was on leave, the officer said.
