NEW DELHI: Delhi on Tuesday reported 623 new Covid-19 instances, the smallest in 2 and a half a year, and 62 more deaths, although the positivity rate dropped under 1 per cent for the 2nd successive day.
This is the next day that the deaths from town stayed under 100.
On April 12, the figure was 72.
Delhi on Monday had reported 648 new Covid-19 instances and 86 more deaths, although the positivity rate dropped was 0.99 percent.
On Sunday, Delhi had listed 946 Covid-19 cases and 78 deaths along with the positivity rate dropped at 1.25 per cent, as reported by a health department .
The brand new cases listed on Tuesday will be the lowest since March 18, when 607 individuals were diagnosed with this disorder.
The positivity rate is currently 0.88 %, ” it said.
With the new cases and deaths, the federal capital tally of instances stands in 14,26,863 and also the death toll in 24,299, the bulletin said.
Since the next wave of this Covid pandemic spread throughout the nation, Delhi started seeing a growth in daily deaths and cases in April 19.
It’d reported its greatest single-day surge of 448 deaths May 3.
But, there’s a declining trend in the amount of deaths and cases during the past several days.
