Delhi Air Still ‘Severe’ for Fourth Days in a row

New Delhi: Delhi on Friday recorded other “severe” air quality days for the fourth day on Trot, even when the authorities expect a slight increase in situations from Saturday and so on.
The city has recorded 22 days of “severe” air quality this year so far.
In November, there were 11 days like that, the highest in this month since the Central Polution Control Board began maintaining air quality data in 2015.
The air quality index was on average 24 hours read 415 at 4pm.
It was 423 on Thursday, 407 on Wednesday and 402 on Tuesday.
Neighbor Faridabad (414), Ghaziabad (386), Greater Noida (368), Gurugram (334) and Noida (397) recorded their air quality in the “very bad” category to “severe”.
Aqi between zero and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfying”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”.
According to the ministry of the quality of the Minister of the Safar Earth Sciences Agency, low ventilation and high humidity maintain air quality in the heavy zone.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) said the level of moisture is oscillating between 51 percent and 97 percent.
Weather experts say the slowdown of the wind because Western disturbances affecting northwestern India leads to the accumulation of pollutants and high water content in the air making more severe pollutants, making dispersions difficult.
Under the influence of Western disorders, light rain is likely to be in the plains in North India between December 26 and December 29 which can improve the air quality slightly.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature of Delhi increased to 6.9 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature is completed at 22.9 degrees Celsius, the notch above normal.
